2 of us visited without a booking and were asked to wait 5 minutes for a table which not a problem as the waitress was polite and cheerful.The menu is full of regional favourites as we as great burgers with a local twist. So, whether you are looking for regional food well prepared or burgers of several types, this is a great place to visit. There is a decent selection of local and other wines and the food and drinks are well priced for the Chamonix valley. If you wonder about the rock n' roll pics on the wall and the vinyl album place mats, some ex-pats told us the chef/patron was a roadie for the big bands around Europe a few years ago, and the mix of local style and this memorabilia works well as decor. Give it a try.
What Drannog doesn't like about Le Grenier:
Good meal in Argentière this weekend. The dish was good. But prices are unreasonable in terms of quantity and quality. 25€ for a tiny burger a nutella crêpe everything that is more classic... It's too much for off-season. View all feedback.
We met this restaurant a few years ago with the old bosses. It was already excellent and very welcoming. The new ones are just as friendly and the quality of the dishes is always at the top. This is frankly an excellent address. We'll be back soon.
An address not to be missed Crossing the corner by road trip vanlife, we showed up but it was complete. Boss Manu, gives us another address of resto but still offers us an outdoor folding plan on his terrace. I'm saying it was 10 degrees if we don't find anywhere else. So, all of a sudden, we come back to see him, and laughing, he takes us anyway Then, quickly installs us in What kindness, service to the top, by a young waitress, and a succulent kitchen by the boss Burgers are a real killing! A qualite haven in a quieter village than Chamonix
Local Crêperie that offers not only a wide choice of salted and sweet pancakes, but also burgers. The products are of quality as well as service. The boss is jovial and creates a very nice atmosphere, followed by other servers. Thanks for the welcome!
