The mote... read more I stayed at the motel while cycling around Lac St. Jean and had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, where both the food and service were excellent. The motel room was clean and spacious, making it easy for us to bring our bikes inside and unpack. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset since the back rooms face northwest.

One great feature is that the restaurant is connected to the rooms, so you can easily access it through the hallway, even on bad weather days. Definitely a thumbs up for that!

It appeared to be quite empty, and based on all the negative comments about the low-quality fast food, I wasn't expecting much. What do people expect from a small, family-run place like this, especially when they're scattered every 40 miles? It seemed okay overall, although these types of spots tend to be hit or miss. I just felt like I was in a place that's above average for the area.
