What SAI doesn't like about Days Inn By Wyndham Chambers Near The Petrified Forest East:
This hotel is disgusting, don’t stay here even if you’re desperate, just go a little further. The sink spurts brown water when you first turn on the faucet. There were bugs of some kind, beetles maybe, on the floor. Foul smell in the room. The shower looked so sketchy I didn’t want to shower.Rooms: 1/5 View all feedback.

I must have got a remodeled room (117) as it seemed newer and was in okay shape. Breakfast at the restaurant next door (you get a voucher) was also pretty good.I wouldn’t recommend stopping here with a member of the female species because they would certainly be bothered by the wiggling faucet, bad dry wall patches, mysterious chunks missing from the breath room door or floor board molding, or even the cold tile floor. But just a stop to get some rest or with the guys, it does alright.

AVOID AVOID AVOID.drive the next miles to the area with other hotels.1) the first room I was offered, room 207, had a bird’s nest outside. I would have been okay with it, but there was a very large pile of bird guano below it, in front of the door. Understanding that bird poop is relatively small, this pile was very high which means it hasn’t been picked up in a very very long time which may be a heath hazard.2) upon request, a new room was offered. As I was bribing my luggage into the room there were several things I noticed that didn’t sit well. There was a smashed cricket under the sink, the floor had looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed with crumbs, trash, and construction powder on the floor. Also the shower head wasn’t cleaned and was rusted, the sink handles were also dirty. There was a dry face cloth smashed between the shower curtains. Then there were bugs on the bed. When seeing this, I packed my luggage and went to the front desk.Although the team was ending for the evening, they said I needed to reach out for a refund and that they couldn’t give me one. So following their direction I am reaching out to request. Please advise of next steps. Also attaching photos.
We had an updated room so it was pretty clean and comfortable. Shower needed more lighting but otherwise okay. Breakfast was included and the pleasant surprise was it was made to order; I enjoyed my over medium eggs, sausage and hash browns. Noise from I-40 was loud but phone white-noise generator solved this problem. It was a pleasant over night stay.
Avoid this Wyndham location. Loud traffic noise, dirty room smelled and poor service. Way overpriced. Breakfast was the only good part.Noteworthy details: Avoid this place. Way overpriced.
