Good eating bad service. the location is newly renovated with a lot of character and a good mix between traditional and modern. eating was very good. pan meerro... read more Good eating bad service. the location is newly renovated with a lot of character and a good mix between traditional and modern. eating was very good. pan meerrot porcini and grilled otopus with a good salat. the herschbraten was delicious and delicate the ribeye. was excellent and cooked as ordered. ass carving was crispy. good selection of wein through the glass and even some craft beer. the only part is the service. grumpy and slow. I would expect more from a restaurant of this type

Unbelievable! Guests order champagne! But they get winery sparkling wine. Why? She explained in her Russian way... Champagne is only available by the bottle, not by the glass. But we didn 't want a glass. We wanted champagne. Winery sparkling wine is a nightmare for champagne lovers! Foul-smelling broth!!! The next thing... the lovely Russian waitress explained to us, pointing her finger at us... The kitchen closes at 9 p.m.! So... what do you do as a guest in a situation like that? We observed your Russian interactions with other guests. It 's unlikely that something like that would be tolerated. What we also noticed, though, is...it 's pointless to complain to the senior chef.... He obviously likes the Russian lady. This became clear to us when the senior chef and the Russian lady stood next to each other on the terrace upstairs, chatting.... Oh well... Unfortunately, the food wasn 't as special as we thought it would be.... The shrimp were served with their intestines.

The excellent quality, regionality, and love of cooking are reflected in every dish, and the service is courteous and prompt. The Ödenturm is and remains something special in the district. We're always happy to return
