Please never ever change the recipe for the garlic naans. They are by far the best I had, better then in asia.
Food is very tasty, staff are very courteous and nice ambience. Very good place to find delicious Indian authentic good.
I placed an order with Restaurant Ganesha well in advance for a specific time, but when it still hadn’t arrived 30 minutes after the expected delivery, I called the restaurant and was told they had no idea where it was or even what the order was, despite me explaining in English and German. This was frustrating, but the food was more disappointing: my husband and I have been travelling to India for work four or five times a year for the last ten years and, while we didn’t expect Oberoi hotel quality and would have been happy with lunch‑canteen standards, the dishes fell far below that. The biryani was acceptable though light on meat, the dal makhani wasn’t rich and was heavy on tomatoes rather than Punjabi flavours, and the naans didn’t seem fresh — they felt like vacuum‑packed bread warmed in a microwave, wet and sticky to the touch. The biggest let‑down was the chicken tikka masala: it contained no spices or salt, just pieces of chicken breast with chopped tomatoes from a can, so we let the dog eat it instead. I would have given this restaurant a single point, but I’m giving two because it has made a name for itself: when I mentioned my experience to colleagues (who know I love Indian food), a colleague from Mumbai said, “You didn’t go to Ganesha in Cham, did you? Boy, the worst food I ever tasted” — congratulations.
Delicious food and friendly service. Getting often the luch box due to its good price-value. Love to come many more times in future :P
