The location is very nice. That's the only positive thing about this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was very unsympathetic and didn't really notice us. When the food came (relatively quickly) I found a hair in my plate. After I asked the waitress about it, she took the plate away from me without saying anything. After about 2 minutes the “new” food came back. Thank God no hair. How is it possible to prepare a new meal so quickly? When I got the bill, I asked the waiter whether they would be willing to accommodate me, whether it was coffee, ice cream or a drink on the house. When I said this, I said: You got a fresh plate. Bottomless impudence, never again.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We sat down on the area between outdoors and indoors as the weather bas bad. (sheltered area). Place was deserted outdoors. As my partner was still full of breakfast I only ordered for myself. First waiter was polite and took the order and drink arrived very soon. We were sitting there for only about 20 minutes. As we wanted to pay and leave another waiter came out and pointed out in an accusatory tone that it was a „one drink per person policy“ in their establishment/not correct to kill time there and not consume anything and next time we should rather sit on a bench in the park. We paid up for the Cappuccino not worth being called a Cappuccino…over ten years not the first experience like that though the tenants must have changed a few times. Sometimes a beautiful location does not help in regards to customer service. Quite common in Switzerland and that coming out of the mouth of a born and bred Swiss…second waiter could do with some better manners and how to phrase their“rules“ in a less aggressive and constructive way.
Perhaps the best place to eat in Cham. Excellent food and amazing views over the lake in a beautiful historic building. The staff are great too.
Horrible service! We wanted to have ice cream. So I told the woman at the entrance to have ice cream and she first said there is no table free. Only when I insisted that there are plenty free, she gave us one. During our 1 h stay, most of the tables stayed empty. Then waited forever to order, and again had to go inside the restaurant to pay as no one showed up outside. Sad that such an amazing location has such horrible service staff.
We met for a coffee, carried on with an Apero and decided to enjoy dinner. The garden setting and the fairy tale view onto the lake made us stay. The food was very nice
In a beautiful parc directly on lake Zug with a stunning view. On a beautifull day you coulden`t choose a more beautiful place. The chefs like to serve mostly seafood on this lake. I must say I had my best Ceviche ever in a Restaurant. They call it a jewish speciality (Tel Aviv style). This surprised me but it was incredible. My wife had the famous fishsoup made with Safran and several seafood pieces. At the end we had a piece of Zuger Kirschtorte and a housemade strawberry tart. The place is famouse for weddings and Birthdayparties. That means sometime it`s very busy and you have to wait a little longer. But with this stunning view you don`t mind to wait. The prices for the quality of food is really fair. I found only one bottle of wine that was more then 100 Swiss francs, which is really unusual low. The Meursault that we enjoyed was so nice. The service was outstanding, much better then before. They finally found gave heart to this beautiful Villa.

Sitting at the park outside with lake and mountain view on a sunny day having oysters and fish on the grill. Couldn't ask for more.
Had a drink and spontaneous dinner with a friend. The food was delicious and reasonably priced (for the fantastic view and eating in the Zug area). The service was attentive, only three tables were taken due to the bad weather. All in all a good...experience, but can understand that this might be different when crowded...

We thought here was a quick salate when we walked to foot. great ambiente and excellent service. However, it is a bit rich when they ask for a glass of conductive water and they calculate chf2, especially since one of us also had a glass. they told us the cost when we had ordered us, so we might not have ordered it. eating is typical Swiss and the meals are expensive, like many restaurants meals in this country.
