My pizza was one of the best that I have had in month... read more Arrived here having been turned away from several other local establishments….and we weren’t disappointed. My pizza was one of the best that I have had in months…..all others seemed equally good, as was the lasagne. The ice creams were fabulous….with special reference to the caramel liegois.

We were quite early (19:15), finding an empty restaurant; nevertheless went in and didn’t regret it at all; nice extensive bread tray with garlic, two great pizzas and some nice Italian ice coupe. We had a nice diner experience for an acceptable price. Exactly what we needed after our trip from NL Châlus in one day by car. Also the red wine (per glass) can be recommended!

We’re ashamed to admit that we’ve owned a house near here for 8 years and each time we’re in Chalus we always said we must try La Table and never managed t do s... read more We’re ashamed to admit that we’ve owned a house near here for 8 years and each time we’re in Chalus we always said we must try La Table and never managed t do so………this year we did! 4 separate visits and each one made us question how it had taken us so long. We ate steak, pasta and pizza and all food is cooked fresh, tasty, plentiful and fantastic value. Service is always polite and prompt and one thing we like is that they speak English but allow us to converse in French (as we should) and help us along when we struggle, a lovely gesture. We’re back in town in October and will certainly return, we have many years of missed meals to make up for!

Really pleasant staff and a great atmosphere. Great choice of many Italian dishes. I went for the sea food pizza and it was divine. This is obviously a popular spot as there was a steady stream of customers throughout the evening. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
