Grill Courtepaille - Chalon-sur-Saône

This chain is part of the great French gourmets of the gradual decline and closure of all these beautiful mother and pop location restaurants, the individual dishes prepared by real people and served for chains of standardized restaurants where the food is prepared and served. with relative indifference. yes, the meal was ok (but not more than ok) and yes, the service was ok, but not more than ok, but others than the reception of French objects like my (considerably indifferent) anduilette could be anywhere. we ate here because we were on the move and had no time to look for something more interesting.

I had not really great expectations at a meal in a restaurant that is part of the great national chain, but we were pleasantly surprised. the duo of the poisson was super, the entrecote was huge, and the lean of the canard was perfect. some beautiful weine to choose. we also went for the more lazy that was excellent.

Nous sommes habitués des grill Courtepaille lors de nos trajets autoroutiers. Celui-ci est surement le moins bien malgré la gentillesse du personnel les deux noix d'entrecote que nous avions commandées saignantes sont arrivées bien à point et pas tendre du tout en plus les portions de viandes vraiment petites et avec beaucoup de gras et très fines. nous ne retournerons pas dans celui-ci

En déplacement pro nous y avons mangé avec ma collègue à un horaire assez tardif (arrivée vers 14h). Service rapide, plat bon, et accueil souriant.Je reviendrai sans probleme
