The owner, George, was manning the bar and restaurant when I arrived. The establishment is cozy, featuring some seating and a welcoming bar area. I ordered the Bent Rod Ale, one of their special brews, and it was outstanding. I also indulged in a hamburger piled high with toppings. While the menu isn't extensive, the beer selection on tap is quite impressive. George is truly remarkable and an engaging conversationalist; I found myself chatting with him for quite a while—he's genuinely a nice person. If you find yourself in Challis or just passing through, be sure to visit RONR Brewing Co. Enjoy a meal, have a drink, and make sure to say hello to George!

There's plenty of par... read more This cozy brewery serves expertly crafted beers made on-site, complemented by a variety of guest taps that elevate the overall experience. There's plenty of parking available both in front and behind the building. Even though it was busy, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the beer. I rated it 4 stars simply because I want to preserve its charm and not draw in the wrong crowd—this place truly feels like a hidden gem that I’d like to keep to myself.
