By far the best food in Chadron. Friendly staff and great comfort food. Everything from burgers, pizza and fried chicken. Grilled cheese is crispy and probably one if the best I've had. View all feedback.
What Kara W doesn't like about Hot Stuff Pizza:
This place is a fine stop if you're driving through Nebraska and getting hungry. Take it for what it is: a giant indoor concession stand with a few extras, like arcade games. Definitely a place for teenagers. Fried foods galore! Also pizza, wings, breadsticks, ice cream, etc. Decent prices. No buffet when I was there, a Saturday evening. View all feedback.
Sorry to give a bad review- but here it is. This place was so dirty! Everything-from the walls to the floors. I went to wash my hands and the soap dispenser in the ladies bathroom was empty. There was another soap dispenser on the vanity, but it would not pump out any soap. I did notify the staff of this and she said she would fix it. The fries and burger were edible but not tasty. The staff (high schoolers) we friendly. If you are traveling through I would try somewhere else to eat.

This place has the mist ridiculous prices for food I can get at the freezer section in wal mart. Every time I have ordered from there I get rude people over the phone if I have delivery its always taken more than an hour. I have not ordered deliver in a while and do not know if it has gotten better. I would be able to forgive all these things if the orders would come correctly as I order hem but the mess my order up literally EVERY TIME! I normally do not write bad reviews because everyone has an off day but every time? Cmon.
Coming home from the Black Hills, my hubby I decided to check out Chadron's restaurants. Pizza? Or burgers? Couldn't decide. Then we came across Donald's Drive-In at the East edge of the main drag. A buffet? At a place that advertises pizza, shrimp chicken? Sounded like a good deal. The salad bar had all my favorites of cucumbers, tomatoes, sunflower seeds. The pizza cart had several varieties. Then there was another hot bar of broasted chicken, meatballs, shrimp, other sides including onion rings. Couldn't believe the price was only $7.50 each! The broasted chicken was great; salad bar, yummy chicken ranch pizza, too. I will say I learned that onion rings need to be ordered hot fresh instead of sitting under a hot lamp--yeah, not so good, then. Overall, this was a great stop for the value received. Lots of seating. I can see this being a hot place after Friday night football games. Good for young families Sr. Citizens watching their budget. The variety of food makes it a good place to eat for different appetites. I would definitely recommend this place--so glad we looked around before settling on McDonald's or Pizza Hut.
Donald's is like a throwback to the 50s and 60s but not in the Johnny Rockets, highly branded, everything-looks-like-Hollywood way. It's more John Cougar Mellencamp than Johnny Rockets. It's a casual eatery with a rambling menu that includes pizza, burgers, fried chicken, sandwiches, and a couple dozen choices of real ice cream.
