Restaurant serve no thrill hearty food in portions fit for a woodcutter. Good quality mom and pop food to fair prices. Restaurant is rustic but cosy. Perfect ending after a day of hiking View all feedback.
What Tope Chidinma doesn't like about Les Gros Manaux:
Located at the bottom of the restaurant the view from the terrace is nice. Service and food are inconsistent and very slow. The chicken nuggets are probably one if the best ever tried. Duck salad and magret are excellent. Fishes don't need to be tried as well a the greasy vegetable salad. Dessert are very good. View all feedback.
We were amazed by the quality of food on the 10,80 euro menu du jour. with roasted potato and a large selection of desserts. everything is made too home. the trip worth. dogs are welcome, which is also very beautiful.
Our party of five had a wonderful time in this old, local restaurant! from our first drinks to dessert was everything delicious, especially the truffade! this is not a place that is visited by many tourists, so they enjoy an amazing experience in a...authentic auvergne restaurant. three people in our group have come here for years. for me it was a very special tasty bite!
Restaurant does not serve exciting hearty spears in portions for a wood cutter. good quality mother and pop food to fair trips. restaurant is rustic, but cozy. perfect end after a day of hiking
After we walked the dom we stopped here at 9:45 a.m., they thought they were closed, but offered us a table. we have dinner at midnight, 2 hours after the graduation. we sat outside on a big summer night and was very well treated. eating and wine...was very good, I recommend.
Following all the comments on trip advisor, we were expecting very good restaurant. Well, at the end nothing terrific. We ate the local dish Truffade with Ham, sausages... So Truffade good but very fattry, all the charcuterie were from the supermarket, for sure nothing local...(which is very sad in that beautiful region recognised for the food from Porc ! . One of us took a fish, supposively without Bones, well some bones ... and without being cautious could have led to bad surprises. Nothing special about the wine, and the desert were not good. At the end, one has to say ALSO that it was pretty cheap, which might explain the food quality level. Fair enough, but we were really expecting better by looking at the comments.
