We can... read more Well my partner Leon & I usually don't eat a lot of FF (Fast Food) but when we do we go for the local Subways in any town we are traveling to or through! We can both agree that The Subway in Cessnock, NSW (sounds better if you say it this way, Cess'nock ) is/was delicious! The serving we had were generous, my roll was wrapped in a way that defies logic as I like to have ALL the free little sides and tidbits capable of fitting on a roll teeheehee!Anyway, the stores general appearance was very clean, the staff very professional, very cheerful and very fast which counts when traveling! At the completion of our meal I asked to speak with the Manager or Supervisor as we do like to compliment if deserved! I was directed toward a young lady who looked around 17-18 years of age whom I originally thought was a full on sandwich artist, but was the Manager! WOW, the way this young lady, Sarah, conducted herself, was in a way that actually stood her above a lot of 'adult' Managers both my partner and I have met, especially when paying a compliment too, there was no nervous giggles etc, Sarah thanked us and said she would pass the compliment onto her fellow staff etc!Seriously, if I was the owner of this franchise I would be paying this young Manager more than just a pat on the back, because guys, she is a keeper!Great food, cleanliness, great location near Woolworths and absolutely awesome staff... Despite being busy, the staff was friendly and provided fast service, preparing the sandwiches just as requested. The sandwiches were fresh and a healthier option than a burger. The restaurant had a good social distancing setup indoors for dining in, and it's important to remember to register when using the tables.
