Despite it being dinner time, they were out of many menu items such as chicken teriyaki and buffalo chicken. The lettuce appeared to be old. My partner ordered meatballs and only received three on a footlong sub, with an excessive amount of sauce. The service was mediocre and the shop was empty and dirty. We will not be returning to Cessnock Subway.

Food quality and hygiene are good. Quality is consistent each visit.
