I ordered the... read more Planned a trip with my friends to check out the wineries in the Cessnock region, saw the good reviews for bridgey's and thought we'd give it a go. I ordered the famous works burger meal which I had to order chips with, and a friend had the fish, chips and salad.First of all the service was nothing but below acceptable. The shops hygeine was utterly unsafe and disgusting.And now for the food... the chips came in a cake box with holes punched throigh with a fork that didn't taste like cake or chips. The chips tasted like they were cooked in week old oil, but it may as well hsve been plastic. The burger patty was nothing short of a home brand from coles. The burger was not eaten. The best part of my meal was in fact the bottled water.

It's just as good & perhaps (dare I say!) even better!I loved Kimmy's though (don't get me wrong!)That place was somewhat of an institution here & rightly so! :) Okay, now here's what I've experienced so far ... Grrreat Service ... "Glad to oblige" your special requests Attitude ... Huuuge, Freshest, Most Delicious Burgers that Taste 2nd to None & I've been around awhile searching!I love a great burger, but where do you find one, right?Bridgey's burgers are literally THE BEST burgers I've ever tasted ... not a skerrick of gristle in ANY of them & I've had a few by now! Every ingredient on the burger is SO delicious & frrresh!Well, don't take MY word for it ... go in there & experience the friendly service AND the food. I do believe you'll become hooked on Bridgey's just like myself & my adult daughter, who's not just a fan of their burgers but also of their chips ... :)
