La Giara - CERZETO

This small Arberesh (Italo-Albanian) village is blessed to have such a high-caliber establishment. Our family of five was treated to the assortment meal whereby the owner brought numerous locally-produced products until we could eat and drink no more. The meats, cheeses, and breads were all outstanding! Our total bill, inclusive of our hefty American tip, was 55 Euros. We were able to linger outside and spent some time with the locals in the streets, churches, and shops. This is a gem of a village and restaurant!

Another small jewel that continues to motivate my preaching (not without obstacles) in favor of the kitchen and more generally of Calabrian hospitality.
