Godiva Chocolatier - Cerritos

I typically steer clear of sweets, but when I walked by this place, I couldn't resist giving it a second thought. It looked so inviting! The large strawberries dipped in both white and dark chocolate were simply too tempting to ignore. Taking a bite was an exquisite experience—they were absolutely delicious! The shop itself was spotless, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, ready to assist you as soon as you entered.

The chocolate was excellent, as always. The service was fantastic. We ordered chocolate for our wedding, and they were extremely helpful. Everything was ready and beautifully wrapped, just as promised.

This isn’t a spot for chocolate novices; the chocolate here is incredible, but the prices can be intimidating. I genuinely suggest that you go in with a specific type of chocolate in mind and ask for their recommendations. My personal favorite is the cheesecake truffle—it turned me into a lifelong fan of Godiva!

Godiva is on the expensive side, but nearly everything they offer is excellent. Personally, I enjoy the coconut cookies, shakes, and ice cream. Their loyalty club is also a nice perk; you spend ten dollars just once and you receive a free candy every month for the rest of the year. Godiva was absent from Cerritos Mall for a few years, but it returned during the renovation and is now located next to Nordstrom. They still provide the same wonderful chocolates, and the staff remains friendly as well.

Every year during my birthday month, I look forward to my $10 birthday credit from Godiva Chocolatier, which can be used on purchases over $10 of regularly priced items. While Godiva offers incredibly rich and indulgent chocolates, their priciness has kept me from being a frequent shopper. After all, why pay so much for chocolate when you can find some at the local drugstore or big box store? However, the exceptional quality of Godiva chocolates is undeniable. As soon as I receive my birthday email, I eagerly decide what to treat myself to. Choosing just one item can be a challenge, but I've never left disappointed with my selection. The service at this location has been decent, though I feel the staff could be a bit more welcoming at times. The wait times can fluctuate depending on the time of day. You can find Godiva Chocolatier in the Nordstrom wing of Los Cerritos Center. I’m thrilled to redeem another birthday offer, as I can never resist the temptation of free chocolate! Because of this, I’m sure I’ll be returning each August to indulge once more. Highly recommended! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
