Michelle the pizzaiolo is a true... read more The best pizza in Cernusco, and among the top 10 I've ever had, anywhere (which is a lot for this native New Yorker to admit). Michelle the pizzaiolo is a true maestro of his craft, and he loves what he does. It shows in the creativity and variety of his pizzas, the quality of his ingredients and how he chats with his customers. The interior of the restaurant is cozy and unpretentious. The adjoining room (from which you enter) is actually a bar/tabaccheria where Michele's cheerful brother takes phone orders and runs the cash register. Take away is available and especially busy on Fridays and weekends after 7pm. Parking is limited and gets tight during peak hours. Prices are very reasonable. I really can't say enough good things about this place. If you are looking for great pizza in a casual setting, this is it. Frequented by local residents and worth a visit by out-of-towners.
