Walking around Aberystwyth, we came across Spartacus (one of the few places open at 08:30 in the morning, near the train station and stopped for breakfast. Friendly albeit slow service. Good quality wholesome food though a tad pricey. Nice cafe latte. Overall a good experience. Only issue was the complete lack of customer toilets. View all feedback.
What nataliedjw doesn't like about Spartacus:
The price for a baguette at £5.90 is ridiculous considering the lack of filling. The sandwich only contains 5 small pieces of chicken and a small amount of coleslaw. In the past, the baguettes were filled generously, but now they leave you feeling hungry. Overall, very disappointing. View all feedback.
We stopped by to pick up some sandwiches for the whole family. They were very fresh and appealing. We loved all of them.

I have been a loyal customer of Sparatacus for several years, but I am disappointed with my recent experiences. The baguette fillings seem to be less generous, with hardly any cheese and just a small amount of coleslaw. For a price of over £5, I expect a better amount of filling in my baguette.
Fresh baguettes and a family must when we visit Aberystwyth. Looking forward to our next BLT or Prawn based servings.
We ordered 2 baguettes and 2 sandwiches with 4 soft drinks and were asked for £26.90, when I challenged why so expensive I was met with a lot of rudness from the manager, basically tried to argue with me, I'm sorry but this this Aberystwyth not London, to charge £6 for a baguette considering it costs about 50p to make is ridiculous, we walked out before the food was made and was shouted at as we walked out, avoid at all cost
