Lungomare - Cephalonia

Had a fantastic evening, beautiful place with delicious food and good service. We were not in the hotel and only ate in the Lungomare restaurant. Recommended!! Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet

Waited 10 minutes to be seated and then after selecting our food we were asked if we are half Bord. When we said that we are not guests of the hotel, we were told that the policy says that for COVID reasons we cannot be served. After offering Calis Covid vaccine proof, we were still denied (after clarification with management). Unpleasant experience for us and the waiter such an inflexibility only deserves 1 star

Food drinks: Above the famous Platys Yialos beach, just by the sea, it is an exceptional restaurant of the White Rocks hotel whose architecture was innovative for its time! The dishes are delicious! We went to Lungomare in White rocks for a sunset dinner. This is hands down the best view of Kefalonia’s sunsets we saw on our trip. The views are spectacular and thee service is outstanding. It is one of the more fancier restaurants we visited so make sure you are well dressed. The food is presented so beautifully and they do a great job combining the most unique flavors. They have gluten free options and the most amazing gluten free bread I had on the island. A must visit for a romantic sunset drink or meal. Be expected to pay though!
