Smoke Rattle Roll - Centreville

The brisket was incredibly delicious, featuring a nice crispy outer layer and a juicy, tender inside. The pulled pork was packed with flavor and also very moist! The wings were addictive, with plenty of meat on each bone, and I loved the variety of sauces available for dipping, scooping, or slathering on the meats. The onion straws were perfectly crispy, and the cornbread struck the right balance of sweetness while being wonderfully moist. Adding a bit of butter on top made it even more delightful! The staff at the restaurant were extremely friendly and welcoming. There’s plenty of seating inside and ample street parking outside. Overall, I highly recommend the fatty brisket, the tasty BBQ sauces, and the friendly atmosphere!

I wish I could be more enthusiastic about this place. The ribs are merely okay, and the brisket varies; it can be quite good some days, but other times it's dry and tough. I find it a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. On the plus side, the sauces are good.

We ordered two dozen wings—one batch was hot, and the other was covered in the apple pie sauce suggested by the friendly woman who took our phone order. They were ready for pickup when I arrived and were packaged securely for transport. The wings were not only delicious but also huge! The ranch dressing I chose instead of blue cheese was fantastic and clearly homemade. We’ll definitely be returning frequently!

I hate to give a local establishment a bad review, but my hopes are they will take this as constructive criticism. We've visited a few of their locations a number of times and have generally had bad experiences every time. I believe they're under new ownership, but the bad food has continued with the new owners. On the plus side, the staff is accommodating and pleasant. We've tried the BBQ, the tacos and the taco salad. All have come too greasy to eat. The brussel sprouts always taste old. The nail in the coffin? They don't have a normal BBQ sauce. They have 5 crazy flavor options, but no run of the mill BBQ sauce. The new (and old) owners ostracize you when you ask (and when you give bad reviews). Mission BBQ is a nationally recognized chain with multiple regular BBQ sauces, what makes you Smoke Rattle Roll so much better? I said it once, but I do not enjoy giving a hometown restaurant a bad review. My hopes are you shape up and we will return.

I took an unexpected exit off of 301 for a bathroom break and ended up having one of the best quesadillas I've ever tasted! The smoked brisket was incredible!
