Centerville offers 24-hour comfort with authentic Korean soups and dishes. The restaurant is popular among older Koreans and has a good selection of traditional banana supplements. The Kong biji was particularly enjoyable and I will definitely be returning. As of December 2019, there is a new menu with additional options available, including house-made noodles. Some older dishes may no longer be on the menu. As of August 29, 2019, the restaurant is great for takeout. Furthermore, as of August 15, 2021, there is a completely new menu featuring casual Korean cuisine (bunshik) with dishes like Korean fried chicken and various noodle options.
The prices at this restaurant are fair and the menu offers a true taste of Korean cuisine. I ordered the Chapssal Soondae and it was incredibly delicious - it simply melts in your mouth. It is definitely the best I have had in Centreville and Annandale. I would highly recommend trying the gimbaps as well. If you are new to Korean dishes, you can't go wrong with this restaurant.
This is the best Korean food I have ever eaten. The Udon is good, but the Katsu is out of this world! The presentation is also incredible. I did not anticipate such high quality from a small 24-hour location like this. This place is extremely impressive.
Food is excellent, and yes, as other reviews have indicated, the service is somewhat slow (the 4 stars). We eat here lunch when we run an H Mart and I usually have extra time (live over an hour away) so we make a day of it and the slow service is no problem. Love the Kimchi pancake, really delicious. The Kimchi is okay, my wife is better. I also love the rice cake meals, always delicious and the sauces are great. Wife gets the Bibimbap and no complaints. Id describe it more than a lunch place than a dinner place, seats are a bit unpleasant for a guy. Nevertheless, the food is delicious and it is always on my way to the list when I am in this area.
Good service and the food tastes good. They don't have many barbecued meats on the menu, but they have most of the traditional Korean dishes so you won't be really missing them. Great soups!
