Alto Plaza - Centreville

The food was below average and the service was terrible. The restaurant appears better from the outside. When I mentioned to our server that the service was unacceptable, he told me there were only two servers working on Cinco de Mayo, which also happened to be my sister’s birthday. She ended up leaving in tears, saying we ruined her birthday by bringing her there. We won’t be coming back!

I wouldn't recommend dining here unless you have around three hours to spare for your meal. The service was quite poor. We had one server who never returned, and then another random server appeared to take over. It was really confusing.

The food at Alto Plaza is quite delicious, but over the past year, the service has significantly slowed down. They offer a nice variety of Latin cuisine beyond just Mexican dishes.

I have eaten here several times and the experience is always the same. The food is good, but the service is usually lacking. As other reviewers have noted, it can take a long time for drinks to be served. That is probably my biggest complaint. The wait for the delivery of the entree dishes is fine, in my opinion. (I hate when I go to a Mexico restaurant and my entree is served five minutes after I order it. They simplified the menu since my last visit and I like that. Most Mexican restaurants give you 74 entree choices that's too many. I highly recommend the Carne Asada it's a big plate of steak and melted cheese. Yum!

Always have a good meal and good service. Have been several times and never disappointed. Also never feel rushed. Excellent staff.
