this restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver and it must be said what a great recommendation. the situation was next to the Mactan Shrine and at the first arrival we were a little worried, we don't need to worry. the service was excellent, the quality of eating and cooking was some of the best we had. we choose steamed lapu lapu, a chilli prwans, baked scallops and grilled squid. when it was delivered to the ta... At the Lapu Lapu Monuments are 5 Sutukil Restaurant where they sell fresh seafood and cooked it for you. I came here to take lunch before taking my flight. We ordered shrimp scallop, clam and fish. The restaurant had no air conditioning, but had a view of the river. Soup was too salty, fish was ok. The bake scallop came with 4 less than I ordered, After I complained, they gave the four more. The Sutukil residues are overrated. the place has created the mood of the typical phil. wet market. I ordered 1 1/2 kilo oysters as they are the only one in the opposite that sells oysters at this time. the catch was small. does not have the texture of plumen, juicy oysters that I was happy. the entrance to the rest was not remarkable, but if there is inside, there is a sea side vibes. Overall, eating was not so delectable and on overpriced side. yet their seafood will meet!
This restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver and it must be said what a great recommendation. the situation was next to the Mactan Shrine and at the first arrival we were a little worried, we don't need to worry. the service was excellent, the quality of eating and cooking was some of the best we had. we choose steamed lapu lapu, a chilli prwans, baked scallops and grilled squid. when it was delivered to the table, we asked ourselves if we could finish everything, not a care we put on the table. at the end of the meal we paid a very reasonable 2,635 peso’s and were accompanied by the waiter to our taxi. the next time we are in cebu, we will definitely return to this hidden gemstone that supplies some of the best seafood we had.
In Lapu Lapu City, there are 5 Sutukil restaurants near the monuments where you can buy fresh seafood and have it cooked for you. I visited one of these restaurants for lunch before my flight. We ordered shrimp, scallops, mussels, and fish. The restaurant did not have air conditioning, but it had a view of the river. The soup was too salty, but the fish was decent. The baked scallops came with 4 fewer pieces than I had ordered, but they gave me the missing pieces after I complained. When the bill arrived, I was shocked to find that it was more expensive than another restaurant we had tried the day before, where we had the same amount of food plus crab, which was more expensive. They added cooking costs that were not included in the other restaurant's bill. I do not recommend coming here as they seem to overcharge their customers. Be cautious!
We left here because it was the cheapest we can find. the type did not tell us the hidden costs in connection with the dinner. eating was simply ok we chose our seafood (fish, tint fish, seafood) and they cooked it for us. Pity, others were. cigarette smoking and there is no designated non-smoking area. it was just okay.
I just checked it out before making a decision on where to eat at this sutukil place and they were very dirty so I did not choose to dine here. I also could not understand their pricing system. It was too complicated to have a...separate cooking charge, etc, which at the end made them too pricey!
