What Anthony Russell doesn't like about Makan Vegan Zhāi Zhè Lǐ Toa Payoh:
On 8/4/22, I didn't have time to go to Geylang so I settled for a Cai Peng stall in Toa Payoh. I enjoyed the Roasted Chicken and the $4.80 economy rice option.
On 28/11/22, I visited a stall in Toa Payoh Central for the first time and was pleased to discover that they served vegan options. They were open as early as 7am for breakfast, with lunch items available around 11am and freshly cooked dinner items from 3-4pm... View all feedback.

I tried the Laksa and it was delicious, although I could do without the mock fish rubber balls. The fried dumplings were served cold, but I believe they would be much better when served hot right after frying.

The restaurant was located in an underground food center with a variety of options to choose from. Depending on the time, seating may be limited and there may be a wait for a table to open up. They accept Paywave for payment. Prices are slightly higher than the vegetarian stall located above, but all options at this restaurant are vegan.
Reasonably priced food with a sign indicating no dairy or egg products. It is suggested to inquire about the use of honey in their dishes and whether the same restrictions apply to the mock meat. The menu offers a variety of vegetable options, moving away from predominantly starchy dishes. Unfortunately, there is no soup available. To improve the overall healthiness of the food, there could be fewer fried options. Review updated on January 16, 2023.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of vegetarian dishes and is situated in the B1 Toa Payoh HDB Hub food court.
We don't have to worry about cross-contamination at Makan Vegan because it is a fully vegan restaurant. Their dishes are nutritious, flavorful, and not overly salty or greasy. There are plenty of options for balanced meals with delicious vegan dressings to choose from.
