I have visited Duke Bakery a few times in the past and recently discovered that they have a vegetarian logo next to the ingredients list. This made it much easier for me to identify the vegetarian breads without having to read through each ingredient. The staff was also very helpful when I inquired about butter, which is clearly labeled - important for me as I am intolerant to it. I requested the bread to be sliced f... View all feedback.
I am a brot maniac, and whenever I want to repair my carabiners duke will always be my first choice! they sell a decent variety of vegan broten, and my favorite is the walnut french loaf. I can literally eat all laaf alone! also the chocolate-blue mountain coffee-red is amazing! chocolate with a hauch bitterness from the coffee. aimlessly the best brote I've ever had in my life!
A few vegan bread options, my favourite being the chrysanthemum bun. They offer bread cutting service too. The only thing I don’t like about Duke Bakery is that they’re having more and more non-vegan items.
Im abit of a bread maniac, and whenever I want to get my carb fix Duke will always be my first choice! They sell a decent variety of vegan breads, and my favourite is definitely the Walnut French Loaf. I can literally eat the whole loaf by myself! The chocolate blue mountain coffee bread is AMAZING as well!! Chocolatey with a hint of bitterness from the coffee. Objectively the best breads I've ever had in my life!
The rolls are tightly packed and well-organized at this restaurant. Some are labeled as vegetarian or vegan, but occasionally the labels do not seem accurate based on the ingredients list. It appears that hidden ingredients may be causing some items labeled as vegan to not actually be vegan, or even non-vegetarian.
I happened to be in the area so I decided to stop by this restaurant. The food was incredibly flavorful and delicious! I was hoping they would offer coffee as well, but unfortunately it's not a place where you can sit and sip on coffee. It's important to note that when they say "vegetarian," they actually mean vegan (except for honey) as they do make a distinction between vegetarian and lacto or lacto-ovo vegetarian options. The staff is friendly so feel free to ask them any questions you may have.
