The staff here are incredibly friendly and genuinely seek your feedback on the food. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. I tried the Thursday special, which was the vegetarian sambal fish with rice, and it was absolutely delicious! The spice level was just right. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend this place. View all feedback.
What John Doe doesn't like about Bishan Vegetarian Bì Shān Sù Shí:
This stall has been my savior since my school days 20 years ago. That said, the quality, flavour and taste has always been low and no significant improvement over these years. Good variety but the standard vege mock meats are used. Curry taste very “temple like”. Portions can be bigger. View all feedback.
Satay Bihun nice! Would be better if got taupok. Updated from previous review on 2022-10-03
Bought their 4 in 1 dim sum set, $3.50 only, consist of yam cake, chee cheong fun, chwee kuey and siew mai, all are delicious, the best is their chwee kuey, siew mai also not bad, located at Bishan Cafeteria, just beside Bishan bus interchange, yet to try their other dishes
I used to take this station often when I worked in Singapore, so if I needed food, this was the best option I've found nearby. There is a hawker center and shopping mall nearby this station, but nothing provides full vegetarian options. This is the only full veggie place (mock-meat and non-mock-meat dishes) I've found near this area. I like it, but I try not to eat here often because they use msg.
There is a vegetarian stall by the name Bishan Vegetarian stall which is just above the Bishan Bus Interchange. The mini food court has been renovated and it looks more presentable. I enjoyed a simple breakfast there. Ordered the Chee Cheong Fun S$1.6 and it tasted good. The fried bee hoon with a deep fried spring roll cost S$2. The fried bee hoon was a little lack of taste as I guess it meant to be pair with curry vegetable or gravy. They do serve some dim sum and some other local vegetarian favourites.
Lor Mee (Braised soup noodles). The standard is good. Adequate options available e.g. Mini-Dim-Summe. In one of the photos you will find contact that you “distribute” meals to the needy. Updated by previous rating on 2023 04 12
