This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, offering delicious and authentic South Indian cuisine. What's even more impressive is that they don't have a set menu price - you can pay whatever amount you feel is appropriate based on your level of satisfaction. It's impossible not to be generously to this fantastic place, as the food itself is divine! Overall, this is a must-visit restaurant. View all feedback.
Beautiful atmosphere, most of the food was vegan and actually very good.
When they look at the description of the header, eat what they want, give them what they feel, we believe in them, we trust everything well, okay. that's true, but social, not really. the environment is quite beautiful (although in a little devastated neighbourhood,) with many employees around (3 different people asked me if I wanted a drink). eating is constantly refreshed. there are price in the register for group tariffs (sgd15 at lunch, 18 at dinner,) so that they have a clue what they should pay and if you don't pay enough, you get a dress. a similar concept in berlin requires that they buy a drink, then pay within a suggested series. but they should really pay the upper limit of the proposed wide range, or they will be openly asked for more. a similar concept in bali would allow them to calculate how much they have eaten on themselves, then the money in a box '. I'm just curious how this model works on different cultures and economic contexts. actual review time: eating is good; not mind-blowing, but definitiw not bad. what I did not like was the choice that is my own problem; there were several different types of rice, 2 curries, dahl, vadai, pappadums (super salzig,) naan, plus 2 desserts (water melon sweet rice [sakkarai pongal the problem is that I don't rather eat much strength (so Veg protein,) so for sg instead of 15, i' it was good to try new. the peanut chaat was really good and the pidi was interesting. Maybe I will try again, but it is absolutely not on my to-do list.
Really good place. We turned up shortly before they closed but they were kind enough to let us in. Fabulous Indian veg buffet!
Clarify with staff to find out which selections are not vegan friendly. The restaurant is run by volunteers and customers get to choose how much they are willing to pay for the meal. Make a reservation if you’re with a big group
You just got to love the concept. Nice spread, not overwhelming but simple authentic food. The ambience is a little much but the staff is just lovely attentive, warm and all smiles. It's not fine dining but more like a dinner at a friends' place, or at your granny's I guess. We gave 20$ per person and it was fully worth it.
