Lovely service as ever, friendly staff. I come especially for the baked potatoes/tuna mayo. Never disappointed... (Around £6) Back xoutyard is a lovely setting with some beautiful large trees/bushes. Will come again! View all feedback.
What Diane G doesn't like about Stables Cafe:
The food was tasty, there wasn't many people in front of me in the queue however I waited over an hour to get to the till. Not sure why they were so slow as it's a very limited menu. Child's meal sandwich was 1 single slice of bread which isn't enough. View all feedback.
The Tudor stables block at Osterley house is a good place to stop for a quick bite or a tea or coffee. Inside, you can sit among the old horse pens; outside on benches tables with a view of the house and park.
Very nice on a bright sunny day to eat outside in the courtyard. However the bread in the sandwiches we had, had dried out and weren't very tasty and the same for the dry cakes. Which was disappointing for the price. Cappuccino was nice. Dog friendly in part of the inside.
Great homemade lentil soup with a lovely wedge of bread.
Drop in for the best home baked scones ever, so a cream tea with good coffee in a glorious open park is a great way to complement a visit to Osterley. Warm, attentive service and atmospheric location.
This is a wonderful cafe to visit whether going to Osterley House or Park. There is outdoor seating and a mixture of modern and traditional decor inside. There are often queues, which can take a while to be served. The prices are reasonable and not too overpriced. There is a small amount of seating inside with the majority outside. The food is good and fresh. There is a good selection of homemade cakes and treats. The drinks offer a wide amount of choices. The staff are friendly and try to serve quickly. This is the main area of weakness, but overall it is a good welcoming cafe to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
