After having a great meal at COTE, we noticed an Asian restaurant nearby. We tried their Happy Hour. Delicious dim sum and great service! Love the drinks as well. View all feedback.
What Anthony E doesn't like about Ping Pong:
The location is great when you're dining outside on the boardwalk facing the Tower of London during the sunset hour. The food is tasty, but the portion is small for the price you pay (8 pounds for 3 dumplings), but hey you're in the touristy spot of London. So this is probably expected. The service seemed to be a little mismanaged and it seemed one waiter left during peak dining hours which left the other waiters to... View all feedback.

The service seemed to be a little mismanaged and it seemed one waiter left during peak dining hours which left the other waiters to pick up more tables. Needless to say, we had to call for their attention quite often.

I don't know if you know, but they have happy hour every weekday from 3-6 pm. Half price on selected food and drinks. Tried their spicy vegetable dumplings, miso wonton soup (amazing), prawn crackers, vegetable spring rolls. Everything was really fresh and tasty. The drinks were tastefully made and had good serving size. Do ask for hot sauce if you like spice. The hot sauce is one of the best hot sauce in town! I've been here thrice already and plan to continue going for sure. Spicy vegetable spring rolls: really crispy hot and goes well with the sauce they give Miso soup: with the upcoming winters, their wonton miso soup is just amazing and great meal starter Vegetable dumpling: they only give 3, which is a bit of a bummer. But the taste is amazing, thoroughly steamed and cooked
No. Absolutely not. The food was purely horrible and definitely should not be calling itself Asian food in any way. Honestly, I am not a picky person, and when I don 't like the food served, that is a big problem. My dad and I came here and ordered the Shanghai Chicken Noodles, Shanghai Aubergine Noodles, Beef and Kimchi Gyoza, Crispy Duck Spring Roll. This place not only serves horrible food, but it is also extremely overpriced. Shanghai Chicken Noodles- The noodles were not noodles, but were udon. The udon was cooked okay, however, was obviously frozen before. The whole dish just looked very unappetizing. Although the flavoring of this dish was actually not horrible, it wasn 't great either. It was ground chicken dunked in a sauce with some cucumber and udon. Shanghai Aubergine Noodles- This was the worst thing I have ever tasted in a long time. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, so I ordered this. The eggplant was appalling. Why was it sour? The noodles in this dish were even worse. Not only were they frozen, but they were also improperly cooked and hard. This dish genuinely made me want to barf. You could not pay me to eat this. Beef and Kimchi Gyoza- The gyoza was crispy and hard on the outside which I actually enjoyed. The inside was not horrible! The beef was okay, but the kimchi flavors did not come through as much as I wanted it too. Sadly, it tasted frozen. Crispy Duck Spring Roll- The outside of this was crispy while the inside was soft in a weird way. It certainly had duck flavor, but it was like ground duck? There was no meat texture to it, but just a squishy filling flavored like duck. After experiencing this, I would not ever come back to the restaurant. The noodles are not good and frozen. 10/10 would never come back ever again.
Nice location by the docks. But the food is meh. Service is useless. My wife got her food 30 min before I got mine. Complained to the manager who told me that's just how they work, food comes out when it's ready and they can't plan everyone's food to come at the same time. The chicken noodles had almost no chicken, just some tiny scraps of ground chicken. The portion was very small. Bathrooms are too dark.
