Best food in Central City! Great atmosphere and the waitress Maddie is so beautiful. The cook Martin prepares your food with care and it is delicious. Only the best!!! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gold Coin Saloon And Millie's:
Maybe the worst culinary experience ever. If you look at the pictures, you will see a mostly empty dining area. Because it's empty. Empty and calm. The subject is a little anxious, but would probably have been better if it had applied the least effort. The service was out. New waitress messed up a few things and seemed to have a little down. So much more a waitress had to take over. Waiting was ridiculous. We're here... View all feedback.
Cool place with an old time atmosphere. I didn't do much here, just had a drink and left, but the bartender was someone who had lived in the city for a while and was interesting to talk to. There is a casino and games, with food and full bar.
Quite possibly the worst dining experience ever. If you look at the pictures you'll see a mostly empty dining area. Thats because it is empty. Empty and quiet. The theme is a little jarring but would probably be better received if it had even the slightest bit of effort applied. The service was off. New waitress messed up a couple items and seemed to have a bit of a meltdown after. So much so another waitress had to takeover. The wait was ridiculous. We got there around 10:30 and then didn't get out of there till noon. The food was meh. All in all I would never recommend it to anyone and I honestly felt duped by all the positive reviews.
Breakfast in the historic building is a must! $10 for a giant breakfast burrito smothered in green chili in a mountain town is unheard of, not to mention it's delicious. The decor is vintage as expected. Central city will forever be better than Blackhawk. Leave the big casinos for the tourists. Locals go to Central City
Jeff and Kristal are two of the coolest cats slinging beverages behind the saloon doors that greet you as you enter. The bar is a minor portion of the establishment but easily the most interesting given the decor. Ask either of the aforementioned individuals about the dollar bills tacked to the ceiling while sipping **** Maria's or having a Blue Moon.
It's in a small casino but that's to be expected around these parts. Gotta say the breakfast was exactly what we were looking for. Down-home style cooking and a great price. The building is old and historic, but nothing was dusty and everything seemed clea. I had the chicken fried steak and it was damn good. After a night of drinks and debauchery in the casinos, this place revitalized me. Service: Dine in
