Our local curry house. Having tried many in the local area, luckily for us this is the one that we will always return too. Since moving in 2020 we have been loyal customers since. Never a bad meal. View all feedback.

We had a great meal in this restaurant. The parking outside was good. There was a nice atmosphere on the Friday night we visited. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. The food was delicious. We will definitely return! View all feedback.

Just called in Tuesday night while working away with my 18 year old son. We were seated straight away by the very friendly staff. We ordered Tikka Korma and a lamb Tawa which took about 15mins while we had a drink. Meals presented really beautifully and was delicious. This place is a little gem. Thank you India Lodge.
Ended up with food poisoning from king prawn Will not return
So to start off, the food here is very nice however the service left a lot to be desired. After booking a table, we were left for around 5 minutes just waiting to sit down. After we were shown to the table, we waited half an hour before anyone came over to even take our drinks order. The waiters were very confused as after we requested to make our order, several different waiters came over asking the same thing and not knowing what we had ordered. The food came relatively quickly and as said was very nice. After asking for the bill, we were given a hand written illegible bill which was completely wrong and was over 50% more than our order. After bringing this to the waiters attention, they laughed and joked saying they were just being greedy this evening. They then corrected the bill and after we paid, it seemed they did not want to engage with us by even thanking us for us custom. Overall, the service was very poor and because of this, we won’t be returning.
I've been a customer on and off for 10 years. Last night, I went through the process of placing an order over the phone, to be told they don't take cards (the place has always favoured cash, but I didn't realise it had stopped cards entirely). I asked to cancel, as I didn't have the cash. The team then tried to deliver the food I asked to cancel and I ended up being (effectively) called a liar and barred by the manager, who said it was my fault (he did say that) and insisted we'd discussed amount and delivery time, which at best was a one-way conversation as I'd ended the call by that point. This has been terrible customer service and I expect people to admit when they've made a mistake. Everyone does, I understand that. This was a classic case of miscommunication. My issue is how that was dealt with. I'd ordered food from elsewhere; why would I have done that if I expected India Lodge to fulfil the order? I guess I won't be ordering again as that hand has been forced by the manager. Very disappointed.
