Nice place without any frills. A few things on the menu weren't available, disappointing, but in the end the alternatives were fine. Friendly personable service.
MFC was recommended to us by a farmer we visited near Caiazzo, and we're so glad we took his advice! We arrived just as they were opening for dinner at 7, and there was only one or two other table occupied. By the time we left, it was fully packed, and with a line outside! Thank goodness we got there early! I can't remember the name of the pizza we had, but it was kind of a pizza-bowl with arugula and fried anchovies. It wasn't what I was expecting (we just ordered it based on the recommendation, I didn't try to figure out what the Italian name meant, but it was fabulous. We also ordered a side salad, and the waiter suggested a delicious wine at an excellent price. I would go back in a heartbeat. There was a huge thunderstorm just after we sat down, which was very dramatic. However, I bet when the weather is good the view from the restaurant must be amazing.
I came here on the last day of my vacation in Palinuro with my family, and we had to find a place to eat. Honestly, as we came in the place appeared to be loud and a bit chaotic, and we had to wait a while for a waitress to come at our table. When it arrived though, the food totally made up for it (and then some more! The prices were a bit high, but well deserved. 10/10 for sure.
Come prima volta ottima scelta.
