Reviews summary
This restaurant presents a mixed bag of experiences for diners. While some patrons rave about the delicious, fresh burgers and friendly service, particularly praising unique options like the "Maverick" and "Ranch" burgers, others express disappointment over subpar food quality and unhygienic conditions. Complaints about greasy dishes, cold fries, and unclean dining areas overshadow the positive reviews. The atmosphere varies from inviting and cozy to frustratingly dirty, impacting overall enjoyment. Was Anonym at Tx Burger a mag?
My partner has always spoken highly of this place, so we decided to stop by on our way to Houston. I really enjoyed it! The atmosphere was unique, which sets it apart from many other burger joints I've visited. The staff was very friendly, making it an enjoyable stop overall. Texas burgers are quite delicious, and I definitely recommend stopping here if you come across it on the highway. You won’t regret having a bit... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Tx Burger:
There were no napkins available, but one of the staff members kindly brought us some, and she was very friendly. The girl who took our order seemed extremely shy, bless her heart. When I asked for help reading the menu (the print was too small), she didn't respond, just stared at me. However, she remained calm when she brought us our orders. I hope she gains more confidence over time, and that she ensures orders are... View all feedback.

Good burgers...better than the last visit. The staff was busy, but still got things done and were very nice.
Burgers and all of their food in general is better than most fast food chains out there. This location had a new, cumbersome pedestal mounted software ordering system that was a little clumsy. It was easy to see various combination meals, but you had to drill down a little deeper to find a sandwich only order.

Parking: A large truck was parked too close to the building, blocking handicap access. I saw a person in a wheelchair who was unable to get inside. I also have a disability and couldn't walk around the truck, as I can't manage steps, which made it really challenging for me. Local law enforcement was eating lunch nearby, but apparently they didn't notice the situation.
I happened to stop by this restaurant and was hungry, and I stumbled upon the incredibly delicious "Ranch Burger." It's honestly the best burger I've had in the States so far! The staff is super friendly and respectful, even if your English isn't perfect. The food is served at your table with a smile! The ambiance is cozy with a nice American vibe and soft country music playing in the background. Everything is clean and makes you want to stay a while. We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area!
The food is fantastic, the service is exceptional, and the dining space is roomy! They have a diverse menu that includes burgers, Subway subs, and ice cream, so there's something for everyone. As for kid-friendliness, the staff is very helpful and assisted the kids with their orders.

I really enjoyed the seasoned fries. Unfortunately, the burger patties were quite bland and dry, making them difficult to swallow without taking a sip of drink. Eating this meal felt like a chore. I noticed a quote on the wall that said, "You could find it cheaper, but then you gotta eat it," and it made me think I might have enjoyed a burger elsewhere. There were no napkins in sight, but thankfully a kind staff member brought some over. The girl who took our order seemed very shy, bless her heart. When I asked her for help with the menu (the print was too small), she didn’t respond and just stared at me. Her voice was very quiet when she repeated our order back. I really hope her confidence grows over time. Until then, just be sure to pay close attention to your order, and don’t leave your glasses in the car like I did, as you'll definitely need them to read the menu.
From out of town. Left the cheese that I paid for off my hamburger and it was not given a receipt. The Patty was also burnt on the edges. Waste of my time to turn back around go 10 miles then get stuck in traffic to get my cheese. On a good note the bunwas fresh as well as the veggies. For the price of a number 1+ cheese (which I think it should?ve came with the cheese. It wasnot worth $10.60. I?d recommend checking your order before leaving.
The burgers arrived just as we ordered them. The food was hot, fresh, and very delicious. I chose cheese sticks instead of fries and was pleasantly surprised. My family enjoyed their French fries and Texas burgers. One person in our group ordered the sourdough burger and said it was excellent. Although we waited 20 minutes for our food, it was definitely worth it.
The burger was outstanding. However, a few of the older staff members could benefit from enhancing their interpersonal skills. The restaurant itself was clean, the restrooms were well-kept, and the wait time was very short.
My partner has always praised this restaurant, so we decided to check it out on our way to Houston. I really liked it! The atmosphere was quite different from many other burger places I've been to. The staff was extremely friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The Texas burgers are definitely impressive. If you see this place while driving on the highway, I highly recommend stopping for a bite!

Burgers were delivered as ordered. Food was hot and fresh. Very tasty. I opted for the cheese sticks instead of the fries and was not disappointed. Family enjoyed their french fries and Texas burgers. One member of our party had the sourdough burger and said it was excellent. Waited 20 minutes for the food but worth the wait.
After coming across some mixed reviews, we were unsure about trying this restaurant. However, we decided to take a chance and I'm glad we did! It turned out to be the best fast food burger I've had in Texas. The milkshake was fantastic too. Our whole family enjoyed the meal, and the customer service was exceptional.
Wow, that burger was absolutely delicious! This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I opted for the drive-thru. I ordered the "Maverick" burger, which is a 1/4 lb cheeseburger topped with onion rings. From the very first bite, I was pleasantly surprised—the buns were buttered and toasted, making them incredibly tasty! The burger had a homemade quality to it, featuring thin but flavorful beef that was slightly smashed for that authentic touch. The toppings were fresh and crisp, reminiscent of a delightful burger from Dairy Queen. The fries were perfectly crisp and delicious; honestly, they should eliminate the small size because they were that good! The onion rings were a little greasy, but I think that was just because they were fresh out of the fryer. They had just the right amount of sweetness and weren't overly breaded, which I really appreciated! Just a tip: make sure to ask for light ice in your drink, as it’s a shame when they add too much ice to a good Coke. Will I be back? Absolutely!

During my recent visit, the restaurant was quite unclean. The tables were dirty, which is surprising given the ongoing concerns about COVID-19. I'm really hesitant to return!
We stopped by last night craving some ice cream. The drive-thru line was quite long, so we opted to go inside instead. After waiting patiently for about five minutes without any assistance, we noticed other customers walking up to the food counter and receiving prompt service. As more people arrived, we remained in line, fully aware that the staff member noticed us at the ice cream counter. Even after everyone else had placed their orders, he still didn't come to help us. I eventually leaned over the counter to politely ask if we could please get just a couple of ice cream cones. He told us we would have to wait. After ten minutes, we decided we had waited long enough and left. It only takes a couple of minutes to scoop two ice cream cones, and the staff's disregard for us was unacceptable.

The burger was good, but some of the older staff could benefit from better customer service skills. The restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were well-maintained, and the wait was brief.
From the city. the one that I paid from my hamburger, I left, and he didn't get any entry. also the patty was burned at the edges. the time to turn around, go 10 miles then put in traffic to get my cheese. on a good note the bungalow was fresh as well as the nice. for the price of a number 1 cheese (what I think it should? ve came with the cheese. it was not worth $10.60 I?d recommend to check their order before leaving.

Texas is known for some pretty good beef burgers, and I'm gonna add TX Burger to the list of must visit. I visited on a Tuesday night, which there are certain burgers offered at half price. My burger and fries were served smoking hot. The staff is so personable. It's great to just chat with people who enjoy what they do. Great service doesn't require much. The team in the building kept the restaurant area clean and tidy. Highly recommend a visit.
One of our favorite stops on road trips down to Houston. I REALLY wish it weren?t attached to a subway because I can?t stand the smell of subway. ?. But alas it is. Doesn?t stop us from coming because we love the food. My favorite is the mushroom Swiss maverick burger (1/4 pound) with sweet potato fries. MH likes the Texas burger (1/3 pound) with regular fries. My youngest loves their kids burger but it?s pretty small, so I don?t recommend it for bigger kids. Perfect for younger ones not in a eat-all-the-things growth spurt. Apparently, mine was in an ear-all-the-things growth spurt as it wasn?t enough this time. I share mine with her. She was hungry enough to not care amount the mushrooms and mustard. Lol. My other child loves their corn dog and sticks with that. They also have blue bell ice cream and a great selection of drinks. They have four lemonade/agua frescas on selection as well. Loved the mango one but the strawberry lemonade was the table favorite. I mixed it with unsweetened tea. Delicious. If we ever come in nice weather, I?d love to eat on the patio as it?s surprisingly nice with its vine covered arches. It really is a great little chain. Too bad we don?t have any up in north Texas.
