We were traveling in the area, and this Pub was recommended by OpenTable. Pardon the pun, but they hit the nail on the head with this one! Outstanding food and service. My husband and I really enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back. The food is so good whether you're getting an appetizer, an entree, or any of the sandwiches. What User doesn't like about Old Bag Of Nails Centerville:
I had a shrimps po boy. they were good. However, the bungalow was like a simple wonder bread. better to buy crispy imperial beans, cut on both cut surfaces, melt butter and grill, until golden brown. that makes a great po boy sandwich. View all feedback.
Everything was great except that your reservation group has made 2 mistakes in 3 visits. Don't like to be embarrassed when this happens!
We reserved to celebrate two milestone birthdays. We arrived at about 530 pm for our 545 reservation. Was seated right away. Waiter come to ask for drink order. Ordered just water for starters because we had no drink menu. It took a ling while for water to come then ask for a drink menu. Then that took a long time. We have been here several times too many to count. It was all u can eat shrimp night. We asked if we could get. Fish with the shrimp. The waiter said no. We all 4 ordered fish and chips. I always get one fried and one blackened. My friends get one fried and one broiled. The waiter told us we cant do that because it confuses the kitchen staff. So my friend got broiled and I got fried and we shared but I really like blackened but she doesn’t like the spices so I got the broiled. The fish were small pieces. They were somewhat dried out and just warm not hot. That is the second time we came and had food not hot.
The menu had changed and one of the food choices was no longer available. The other food choice I wanted was also not available. Not a good day at your restaurant.
The food was excellently prepared and the service was excellent....i would highly recommend this place to anyone that is discerning.....I am looking forward to my next visit....
Good good , good service , reservation worked out fine . Somewhat loud . Have larger variety of soup available
