Very nice guy who runs the joint. 3 way beef and a slice of cheese both pizza and samy were on point. the james river/mayo combo is top-notch. going to have to swing by again.

Don't care for the food. It's mediocre and twice I received beef that had a souring taste to it! Will NEVER go back!

Not open when hours clearly stated they were supposed to be open, driving there to find they were closed while during their open hours, even after calling? Really?

Stopped on our way home from North Conway. I had the best burger I ever had. My wife had a roast beef sandwich which she thoroughly enjoyed. The hand cut fries were delicious. We will be back next weekend.

The owner, Gary, is a genius in the kitchen when it comes to BBQ and pizza. Some of the most flavorful food I 've had in a while, particularly since he actually seasons his food! I don 't know why it 's so rare to find someone who does that these days outside of haute cuisine/fine dining, but we were happily surprised to find that we didn 't need to add any seasoning or even salt, for that matter. Our sandwiches and the BBQ beans (which I wouldn 't typically rave about, but these had so much depth of flavor that the only word I can use to describe it is 'umami ' were so good that my husband and I ordered a pizza to take home with us for dinner, as well, which was also fantastic and traditional Italian style. We 're going to make Smoking Guns a regular stop for us whenever we 're in the area.
