The Mug - Center Harbor

The pub offers delicious food that's hard to resist, with flavorful soups and a wonderful selection of salads. It can get a bit noisy at times, but overall, it's a fantastic spot for a quick bite, catching up with friends or family, or watching a game. It's like the "Cheers" of the Lakes Region!

We visit this place every time we're in the area, and while we've typically found the food to be decent bar fare, this time it really missed the mark. This was our 6th or 7th visit this year, and we likely won't return. The nachos were lacking cheese, and the pizza was undercooked. I rated it 3 stars because the drinks were enjoyable, and the staff was very friendly and attentive, despite the restaurant being quite busy.

Their pizza is so good! We have been looking for a good pizza all summer! The Mug will be our go to.

The food quality was disappointing, with everything seeming like it came straight from the freezer. I really hoped for better. They could really benefit from broiling or baking their dishes instead. The staff keeps leaving, which is a concern. There were hardly any servers available, and those that were seemed overwhelmed. Honestly, they deserve to be paid $35 an hour for all the hard work they put in. The owner appears to be out of touch with the situation, which is frustrating. On a positive note, the salads and soups were quite good, but unfortunately, everything else went downhill from there.

Good bar and restaurant for a bite. Three different room's bar/restaurant/ pool room. Burger and salad were very good. Bartender/ waitress was pleasant. Not fancy. Plenty of parking and outside picnic tables.
