Having context on the situation certainly puts me at ease and I’m glad to know we were not being unwelcome.Original:Had a very strange interaction with staff. I met my husband here (who is a park ranger) after his shift for dinner and at first we had a very pleasant interaction with the young lady there while ordering food. But then while we were sitting down eating quietly, one of the staff came out and was very unhappy we were there. The staff member at one point gestured toward myself and my husband saying “He works for us!” As if my husband was doing something wrong eating there, and everyone working there stared at us. It was very uncomfortable, so much so that we left because we are clearly not welcome here.

Consistently great poke misoTaiyaki is also a wonderful treat. A little pricy $18 for the large (including tax) but always love going to this place when I can.

This place is all round amazing! The people are so kind! They food is always so delicious ?! Today is my brothers birthday! I asked Jordan, my favorite person that works here, if they do anything for birthdays. She said they didn’t but that since we are regular customers, she could make us some of there waffle cakes or whatever they are called. She is so kind!

I love Poke Story! I come here for lunch whenever I get a chance. They’re very consistent always fresh food and good service. Hopefully they will open more locations in the future, maybe closer to downtown.
