Louie The Streets At South Glenn

Came in for brunch yesterday with an old friend, and I've got to say I'm not one to typically write reviews, but this was truly a great experience. I could tell the staff was having fun, the food was great, and my server, Anna, took wonderful care of us. She suggested the The Hangover Helper and she was right! It was amazing.

If I could give this establishment no stars I would. We have never walked out of a restaurant after having been served but this time we did. We have been going to Bar Louie for quite a while and have always enjoyed our meals. This time it was disgusting. Our orders were incorrect, the bread was soggy rather than being toasted and half the ingredients that were supposed to be on my sandwich were missing. The tots were completely over fried, the tea tasted like instant. We tried to assure the server that it was certainly not her fault but she still felt bad. I don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen but it isn’t pretty. It seems all of the good people have gone elsewhere. We will be checking reviews and until we start seeing positive feedback and there is a change in the kitchen we will not be back.

Good food, smaller portion of fries than I would have liked. This was most likely a planned portion since the Tuesday Madness burgers were discounted. Overall, this was a meal properly balanced with quality, portion size and price. We had the Cheeseburger and BBQ burger, fries and tater tots, a top shelf long island iced tea and a lemon drop martini -all were very good! $35

Honestly I had lost faith in this place. Service and food went downhill shortly after opening, but I came here on Derby day with my sister and Jordon (bartender) was nothing short of awesome! He made sure the TV’s and sound were on for the race and ensured us he would do the same for the following Av’s game. Food has definitely improved and the overall service experience has too. So glad to have our ole Bar Louie’s back. We’ll keep coming! Thank you Jordon and the rest of this hard working staff.

We really enjoy the happy hour at Bar Louie! The drink specials are great (my wife is a fan of the martinis) and the appetizers are tasty as well. We visited on a Tuesday night and the $5 burgers were an excellent deal!
