Artesian Wells Sports Tavern is a fantastic dining spot. It's a family-friendly restaurant with a sports theme, rather than the biker bar you might have been led to think it was. I visited the restaurant again on March 9, 2012, after dining there several times before. My previous experience with the all-you-can-eat ribs was disappointing; they were dry and charred. This time, I opted for the fried walleye, but it turned out to be even worse. The fish was very soft and mushy, and it was sliced so thinly that it lacked flavor, apart from the heavy breading.
