We just left Henry Grattan's, where our family of 40 rented the private room for dinner. The food from the menu was top quality, and the staff worked incredibly hard, providing excellent service. Vegetarian lasagna was ok. It tasted like it was cooked about 9 hours earlier and then reheated. Pasta sheets were chewy. Garlic bread accompaniment is a carbohydrate beige overdose. TV was showing live sport (golf and then football). Other tables were all mostly couples eating food on a Friday evening. Interior is nice and there is a strangely high amount of car parking available. View all feedback.

One of waiters was just rude obviously didn't like the fact that we're with kids. Other waiters was fantastic and food was good

I booked McMahons Celbridge for a Company Christmas lunch for 35 guests Dec 2023. The food was fresh and wholesome and very generous portion sizes. We had the private function room which was perfect for enjoying some festive games post lunch. The service was stellar John Higgins, General Manager, took the initial reservation request and he went above and beyond to make our event a success dealing very graciously with some special requests; on the day, Monica Yvonne and Mathew took really great care of us : I would not hesitate to recommend McMahons Celbridge!
