We just left Henry Grattan's, where our family of 40 rented the private room for dinner. The food from the menu was top quality, and the staff worked incredibly hard, providing excellent service. The entire place was spotless. We will definitely be back—thanks so much for a fantastic day! View all feedback.
What John Keenan dislikes about Henry Grattan's:
Vegetarian lasagna was ok. It tasted like it was cooked about 9 hours earlier and then reheated. Pasta sheets were chewy. Garlic bread accompaniment is a carbohydrate beige overdose. TV was showing live sport (golf and then football). Other tables were all mostly couples eating food on a Friday evening. Interior is nice and there is a strangely high amount of car parking available. View all feedback.

Five of us had a good lunch here twice recently. Today our lovely waitress, Monica, recommended the boneless pork neck, which was one of the specials. And she was right. It was tender and very tasty and the mushroom sauce was delicious. A generous portion served with mash and plenty of veg. Another one of our party had a very good steak sandwich which was cooked as requested. Someone else had the chicken curry. Again a good portion, nicely flavoured. The beef nachos were another appreciated mains. And the pan fried Ssea bass went down a treat. The two desserts which were chosen a selection of ice cream and a very good apple crumble were really enjoyed too. All this and various drinks teas, coffees and minerals. And a total price for the five of us of €130.00. Not bad for a good Sunday lunch in pleasant surroundings with very nice staff.
A very nice pub with excellent food and very friendly service. Large beer selection. We will come back.
Was there June bank Holiday Sunday for the first time. Pub us quite big and spacious good for a small gathering or party. Warm friendly atmosphere and the DJ was really good played great music. Recommended.
Went for a quick bite to eat. Steak and fish cooked perfectly. Excellent service by staff who were subtly visible and extremely helpful.
