As an American in Italy, I only know conversational Italian, but the family helped tremendously. I have uploaded some pictures as well of the meals (it was so good, that on my few days in Celano I went twice and I plan to stop at least once more! The crema catalana is a MUST. The maiale was a little dry, as it is pork, but the 10€ wine d'Abruzzo should be on your table anyway and that helped wet the palette again! (psst. Don't forget to end your lunch w un caffe!

We onl... read more We had a meal here whilst staying at the sister accommodation just around the corner. We atr early for Italians) and were the first customers at 8.00 PM. We only wanted a main meal. We had great food the meat is great, selected from the chiller) and attentive service. It did fill up quite soon which showed its popularity with the local. Quite a rustic interior. No pretentions ... just great food and decent house wine not surprisingly Montpuliciano d'Abbruzzo).
