Very loud and unpleasant music all the time. A mixture with the ear-splitting voice of a speaker coming from the village, maybe, promoting local politicians. Very short distance between umbrellas. 35 euros for the whole day. We paid 30 just because we got there at 3 p.m. and insisted. Other beaches, in Mondello, for example, make you pay 14 euros if you get there after 2 p.m. Apart from that, you have to pay for car parking (3.50 euros from 3.15 to 6.45) and the shower is 20 p.

We had to ask twice for knives. We also ordered a tomato salad. I was tasted horrible and was without mozzarella cheese. Plain tomatoes. Don’t go there, they dint know what they are doing. We hade to order drinks twice before we got them. The prices are horrible compared to the low standard of the food.

We may as well not even spoken. We went to lunch and trying to order is not easy with a waiter who looks down at you with a unfriendly face and no interaction. The waitress was sweet but had to follow the miserable waiter guy. The only person who did show any friendliness was the barman with ponytail. The food was nice but I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a place. Daft when you have strong competition around ! Not sure if it was because we were tourist but as far as I could see no one received any better service than us. Why do people work in service industry if they do not like people !

Result a mix of a gin tonic with brown sugar and no taste of rom. After he finished the drinks and I was gonna take the he asked me to sted at side so he could take a picture of the drink. The bar on the street above knows how to mix a proper cocktail. Go there instead!
