The... read more We were tempted to leave the restaurant, as it seemed a long wait for our food. People who had arrived after us, got their food. But, it was worth the wait. The best croquetas de bacalao we have eaten...ever. This was followed by a delicious and huge plate of chocos? with white rice (I couldn't finish).

The w... read more The only reservation I could get was for 10pm. Which is usually way past a time I eat, but I accepted as I was excited to eat seafood in this pretty town. The waitress initially was firm but reasonable when I made the booking. I had counter offered to get takeaway, to which the ten o’clock table suddenly became an option. Anyway…. We came back before 10 to a pretty empty restaurant bar one couple still eating dessert. I asked with enthusiasm whether one of the other tables was ours. “No. You have that table when the couple leave.” At which point all the staff were huffing and puffing faced with serving my partner and me. They made us feel so unwelcome. They didn’t offer us a drink while we wait. Or make any effort to keep us happy while the clock ticked closer to 10pm. So we left. If I have to beg for a table at your restaurant you don’t deserve my money. The waitress ran after us down the street shouting … “are you coming back?” No thanks!

And then they... read more We approached this restaurant for a table for two. They told us we had to wait until 10pm. At 9:50pm we turned up and waited outside. No problem. And then they just ignored us and made us feel like we were an inconvenience, that they were doing us a HUGE favour. No small amount of customer service, such as “don’t worry your table is coming, and while you are standing outside on a windy street right by a table, would you like a glass of wine (which we would pay for)…”??? After ten minutes of being ignored we stepped inside to enquire if we were perhaps invisible? Finally, exasperated we walked away at which point the girl who had taken our booking chased after us and shouted “ what, you don’t want your table?” We told her that no we didn’t, and had never been treated so rudely before. An older man intervened and tore her away. She could not believe we could actually have a choice!!! We went to another restaurant and their review is next…

Went here with a couple of friends after surfing. Nice and friendly restaurant and staff. Close to one of the bridges an overlooking the water. Cold beer, nice... read more Went here with a couple of friends after surfing. Nice and friendly restaurant and staff. Close to one of the bridges an overlooking the water. Cold beer, nice salads with balanced vinaigrette and great scallops with roe. Also go to hear Galician bagpipes as the musicians had a couple of beers.
