The atmosphere at Stinger's is fantastic, making it a popular hangout spot for Cedarville campus students. However, the food is decent but not outstanding. The menu items can be hit or miss, with some being exceptional and others just mediocre. Despite this, it's still a great place to grab lunch! View all feedback.
What Jon Allen doesn't like about Stinger's:
I have eaten at this restaurant many times. The waffle fries are chewy, the milk is watery, and I do not like it. The staff is very friendly, but they never refill the milk. The burgers are not great, and the chicken patty makes me sad. The sauce is good though. They do not have milk available. View all feedback.
The Hive (now called Stinger's is decent for the type of food and for its location (in the university's student center . Their burgers are decent, nothing to get excited over, unless you're used to eating Chuck's (the cafeteria food, in which case the Hive (Stinger's is literally the most amazing food on earth because that's how bad the food in Chuck's can be. Overall, the Hive (Stinger's isn't spectacular, but it's pretty good. 8/10 would eat again. (P.S. The quality of the meal goes up as you spend money, thus student transfer meals are mediocre at best.
Good cafe style food that is pretty cheap. The chicken sandwiches are good, as is the chicken quesadilla. If you really want a good deal, ask about purchasing a transfer meal. The breakfast sandwiches are also tasty if you need something quick in the morning.
My last visit to the hive I ordered a quesadilla. I'm pretty sure a monkey could have made a better quesadilla. Two of the four slices had no chicken in them. The others had barely any chicken and there was so much cheese that it oozed out all over the bottom of the container. Eating this joke of a quesadilla was infuriating.
Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
I've dined at this restaurant multiple times, and I have to say, I'm not impressed. The waffle fries are a bit chewy, and the milk tends to be watered down, which I find unappealing. On the positive side, the staff is very friendly, but they often forget to refill the milk. The burgers leave much to be desired, and I find the chicken patty quite disappointing. However, I do enjoy the sauce. Additionally, it’s worth noting that they don't have milk readily available.
