The restaurant may be a bit older, but I believe that adds to its charm. It has the feel of a classic family diner, which I think is a positive. It's not fancy; instead, it offers comfortable chairs and tables that encourage interaction with your own party as well as fellow diners. The food is excellent. We’ve visited numerous times and sampled a variety of dishes, and we've always found the food to be very good.

My husband's pork sta... read more Over priced for what we got to eat. My patty melt was a froze beef patty that didn't even cover the bread and the beef patty was very dry. My husband's pork stake was over cooked and dry the vegetables were over cooked and burned. We payed 36 dollars and some change for this meal we didn't even enjoy. The service was good and we did leave a tip for our waitress,she was very pleasant and good at her job. We both give her a thumbs up.

While searching for a brunch option on the way home from a weekend getaway with my wife, I was sold on Kelly's when I saw pictures of the obviously comfortable... read more While searching for a brunch option on the way home from a weekend getaway with my wife, I was sold on Kelly's when I saw pictures of the obviously comfortable dining room chairs circa 1986. We easily found parking next to the entrance. We were promptly seated upon entry, but given more time than expected to peruse the menu (good thing the chairs were comfortable) while taking in the 20 or so conversations happening in the open, well packed dining room. Our server was about as attentive as one might expect for such a busy time (Sunday lunch) and refilled our coffee as needed. We were grateful for our meals, which were just fine and as expected. Items were well cooked as ordered. I might have liked scratch-made sausage gravy, but, alas it appeared to be from a can, tasty though it was. My wife's waffle was fresh and to her liking. I would come back if in the area, but would try other dining options first.
