Mikey's Family - Cedar Rapids

One of the best restaurants in town. Good range of food, although breakfast is the best. Mikey and his crew are top notch!

We have been here half a dozen times have enjoyed it each time. The cost is reasonable, the portions are generous, the soup is always homemade, the hot beef plate is excellent! We've never had to wait long for our meal have had consistently friendly attentive service! It's one of our favorite places to eat!

I would recommend this place to anyone! Very tasty food for reasonable price!!

I am not a regular but like to visit every couple of months. I have met Mikey while there a couple of times. He really seems like a genuine person who has a passion for food. He puts his own spin on recipes and they may sound a little different but always taste great. I had an issue once with my order not being correct but they fixed it quickly. I understand people can be very rude to restaurant staff as I have read the other reviews. If you don't voice your problem, how can they fix it?

If you are looking for an AMAZING burger- try the 'Iowa Burger ' at Mikey 's! 1/4 or 1/2 lb burger hand pattied, with bacon, cheese egg!! Be prepared to fall in love! ...And if you 're in the mood for breakfast- the pancakes are outstanding! Great food, great owner! Love this place�
