The food here is incredibly delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. This place is truly a gem, and I'm so glad we found it. View all feedback.
Delightful old school long standing tavern made semi famous by artist Marvin Cone with his 1945 painting Little Bohemia . Stick with beer or classic spirits, no umbrella drink Arta Joint. Cheese nuggets are fabulous, and if you're in immersion experience trying the Czech Goulash.
It is a tiny little bar with a mostly typical bar menu of sandwiches and appetizers, but there was a Czech gem on the menu. The Jalapeno Poppers were huge and flavorful without being very hot. We loved them. And the Czech Goulash was superb. I really had druthers about ordering Goulash at a restaurant I mean isn't that what you cook when you are just tossing the left overs in a pan together? Anyway, it had a delicate sausage and chili flavor all drizzled over scrumptious homemade dumplings that were light and fluffy.
Great Pork Tenderloin sandwiches. Real people, great eclectic atmosphere.
Our family had a great experience and great meal. The owner was very helpful as we tried some of our ancestral cuisine. The atmosphere reminded us of our friend's old bar from several years ago, where at any time there may be conversations taking place across the room or tables. We also enjoyed looking at all the treasures decorating the restaurant/bar.
A homey little bar with great food and great service. Will definitely be back!
