What Stephanie Gartner dislikes about Carlos O'Kelly's:
The waitress we had was fantastic, probably the best we've experienced in quite some time. The food was served hot, but it all seemed to have a similar taste. Overall, it was just okay. View all feedback.

Additionally, the portion of toppings we received with our Naked Nachos Grande was underwhelming. For $11.99, it felt like a rip-off! I advise against wasting your money. We also tried a fajita steak burrito, but the steak was tough and rubbery—completely inedible. The sides of rice and beans tasted stale, as if they had been sitting out for a while, lacking freshness. Overall, we won't be returning to this location. It was a waste of both time and the $43 we spent on this unsatisfactory meal. I do not recommend it; there are definitely better places to get good Mexican food.

This place is pretty different than what I remember from when I was younger. I do not eat cilantro or anything with cilantro in it, and I remember a specific dish that was safe from having cilantro in it. I was told that the dish does have cilantro, and the waitress also warned me that the salsa brought to the table had it as well. She helped me out by substituting the type of chicken (fajita chicken does not have cilantro, but shredded chicken does). The waitress was super cool and patient and answered all of my questions. The food was also really good as well. My partner ordered a pasta (Pasta Diablo) and said it was great!Overall, this was a great experience even with my pickiness. Can't wait to come back! Dietary restrictions: A LOT of dishes contain cilantro, so make sure to double-check. Kid-friendliness: This place does have a kids menu and highchairs

We love Carlos O Kelly's. Great food. The best queso anywhere.
This Mexican eatery offers friendly, attentive service with staff praised for patience and helpfulness, especially accommodating dietary restrictions like cilantro avoidance. The restaurant features a kids’ menu, ample parking including handicap spaces, and wheelchair accessibility. While some dishes impress—such as the flavorful Pasta Diablo and warm queso—others disappoint, including tough steak and stale sides. Portions, especially on dishes like Naked Nachos Grande, may feel overpriced. The venue shows signs of wear, suggesting a need for updates. Takeout is efficient and enjoyable, making it a convenient option despite inconsistencies in food quality. Overall, a mixed experience with room to improve.
