I always have to get a hot apple pie from this place; it's definitely one of the best in the fast food game. The burgers are consistently great as well.

I've been a fan of SS since I was a kid, but the fact that you don't accept Amex might explain why I rarely see anyone in your drive-thru, while the Whataburger next door always has a line around the building.

Curious about her name, I inquired, only to be told that it was "personal information." It’s quite amusing, really, because it's standard practice for employees in customer-facing roles to wear name tags as part of their uniform. Apparently, this was not the case for her. Name tags are meant to ensure that customers can identify staff, whether the interaction is positive or negative. With that kind of attitude, it seems she'll remain in the fast food industry, but I certainly won't be returning. I will never spend another penny at any SHORT STOP restaurant again.

Dude what can I say? Short stop is iconic and as Austin as it gets. You want a delicious heart clogger, this here is your place. Something about those half steamed burgers still leaves a delicious taste in my mouth even though there's not as many locationsleft. And the fries are the best around in my opinion, just make sure you tell em crispy.

Best!!!! Fried Catfish you can get. And the staff is great. You can only get it on Friday but it's worth the wait
