Stopped here for lunch on the way back from a camping trip. Nice area to sit and enjoy some delicious food. This is probably the best and freshest food we had had in Texas since moving here 6 months ago!! The arepas and empanada were buttery and flavorful! The sauce to go with the arepas was delicious and added just the right amount of creaminess. Amazing place! We will definitely be back! View all feedback.
What Janet Faz doesn't like about Aleida's Food Truck:
Paid $4 a taco for tortillas from a bag. The gentleman was very nice and I appreciate that so thank you. If you like tortillas from a bag then you’re good. Also I ordered fajita tacos under their Mexican section of the menu. Whatever seasoning they used didn’t seem “Mexican style”. Very nice people but a pass on the food. View all feedback.
So the first visit I had with Aleida's I ate my food so fast I didn't get a photo. This is one of the places you won't get the same thing on any visit. On top of amazing food that's fresh and freaking delicious they have top notch customer service that makes you want to come back just to make your day. I chose a burger this visit and so glad I did. It was HUGE (I shared) and the fries were hot and crispy. I would have liked more ketchup because I am a dipper. Overall, Aleida's will not disappoint.
Great food at a reasonable price! I really miss the food trucks that I could visit regularly when I lived in South Austin. This gem which opened a month ago is a step in the right direction for Cedar Park. Love the spices and some of the more unique items that you won't find anywhere else. Definitely a Venezuelan influence the cooking which is ok by me! I would say if you go there in the morning, get breakfast tacos. They're huge and flavorful. If you are there for lunch or dinner, try the Venezuelan Burger. You won't be disappointed.
The people working the food truck were super polite. I ordered two bacon breakfast burritos for me and my partner. Even though we could see a few tiny pieces of bacon in the burritos, all we could taste was eggs and a huge glop of cheese with each bite. We wish they included more bacon, or some crunchy potato's to break up the mushy taste.
We were very excited to try Aleidas and got a little bit of everything to try it. The item I really liked and would go back for was the cachapa. It almost tastes like a tamale de elote. It was yummy!! The tequeños were also quite good and filled with so much cheese!! The other things on the menu were a bit disappointing. The taco al pastor was not right at all. As you can see by the picture who knows what was in there. The arepa reina preparada had a really strong taste of mayo and not as much avocado as advertised in their photos. The arepa pabellón was tasty but filled mostly with black beans, the taste of the beans was overwhelming. Once I took out more than half the beans, it was tasty! Overall 3/5. Very friendly staff but just disappointed at what is marketed on their Instagram and what we actually received.
What a nice find!!! The arepas were absolutely delicious. Everything is fresh and taste incredible. Can't wait to go to their restaurant!!! Thanks for the amazing experience!!!!
