We've eaten here several times and the breakfast is always fresh and delicious. You also can't beat the price. Love how you can bring your pups and sit outside. Everyone is so sweet and friendly that makes all the difference. View all feedback.
What Jean Shigley doesn't like about 2nd Street Cafe:
Great cocktails. Decent pancakes and ham. We ordered sausage biscuit and gravy and it came out with two sausage patties, two biscuits and no gravy!? So we had to ask for gravy and then it was just okay. The prices are good though. View all feedback.
This family-run café definitely has the small town charm. The outside seats are nice and pleasant. Our server was fast and friendly. The dishes were the sweet potato wafers and homemade ranch dressing- delicious! The only disappointment was that none of the waiters wore masks. Otherwise it was a very pleasant experience.
In any case, come back to try more skills and meals. Great service, delicious breakfast meals and good coffee also. This is a great place I would visit weekly if it were in my hometown
My wife and I have celebrated our 3rd anniversary during our last stay in Cedar Key. We were very satisfied with our experience! We decided to eat outside as the weather was pleasant, and enjoyed everything we were served. We had both breakfast chicks and shared a sequence of their blueberries French toast. The French toast was made from heidelbeer bread and was covered with blueberry butter and a blueberry cocoa. All right! Our breakfast was accompanied by a very nice kitty that roams in the neighborhood. The staff knows him and calls him Garfield, but we thought he looked like a Montgomery, so we called him Monty. He loves eggs and bacon fat and will provide support in exchange for these products.
Beautiful atmosphere in a beautiful village. Nice people and very good food at reasonable prices. Delicious!
The food here is wonderful but they are only open till 2:30 pm. I was looking forward to the eggs Benedict, but they stopped serving breakfast at 11am so I guess what I'm saying is I wish they would serve breakfast all day.
